I was shocked to log in to my ISP's customer service portal and discover  
that they simply provide a web form to enter your reverse DNS, yourself. I  
had my router swapped out a month ago and just discovered that they lost my  
reverse DNS (apparently it's tied to the router) so I had to enter it again.
