POP3: Deleting a message

Hi,

What's the preferred method for deleting a message in a mail folder. I've
got a POP3 connection and from what I can see, the mailfolder_expunge method
isn't supported by the POP3 driver and the documentation says that use of
the mailsession_remove_session method is deprecated.
