I am using PCpine 4.64 (on a Win XP). Suddenly (since the weekend), PC
pine rejects my outgoing mail with the message
[Mail not sent: <HAENDEL>: Helo command rejected: need
fully-qualified hostname]
"Haendel" is the name I gave my computer during setup of my LAN
(desktop-laptop-printer) under Win XP); but I thought that was used by
Win XP only, and I couldn't find out how or where PCpine ever found
out about that name, or what it really is complaining about.
I DID NOT change pinerc recently!
Can anybody help me? Thanks forlistening.
(I am now writing on my 'backup mail system' [email protected];
but I do need to get back to Pcpine rather urgently.)
ccn.
