You could consider changing the name in Windows to "haendel.example.com". However, that's playing the sorcerer's apprentice. For example, in my $ORKPLACE, the fully qualified domain name gets assigned through DHCP, and mucking around with it would be frowned upon. I'm led to believe it could even negatively impact your Domain logon (but I'm no Windows expert -- your milage may vary). I'ld contact the Postmaster.
