Hi All,

Pflogsumm version 1.3.0beta01 has been released.

This is a Beta release that may eventually become the 1.3.0
Production release.

>From the ChangeLog:

rel-1.3.0beta01 20260820

Other than the below-noted documentation updates, this is simply a
promotion of 1.2.2alpha02 to Beta status.

    Documentation Updates:

        - pflogsumm-faq.txt renamed to FAQ and extensively updated
        - README renamed to INSTALL and updated
        - README.md created
        - ToDo renamed to TODO

    Version Numbering Change

With this release there will be a change in the way pflogsumm
        versioning is done.

        - Rather than bumping the third digit of version numbers for
Alpha or Beta releases, new Alpha and Beta releases will
take the next Production release's version number, with
          "alphaNN" or "betaNN" appended.
        - The last digit of the version number will be reserved for
patch releases. Alpha and Beta versions of a patch release
will retain that patch version through Production.

I decided on this approach after discovering some consumers
were mistaking Beta releases for Production releases.
