I never understood why when parent_domain_matches_subdomains contains
"smtpd_access_maps", the special meaning of the prefix '.' no longer
applies.  What would that pattern match in that case?

I have 'parent_domain_matches_subdomains =' so it's moot for me, but
it seems better to apply that logic either way, as it eases transition
to turning off parent_domain_matches_subdomains.

It would also be really nice to have a prefix character to mean "match
the domain or any subdomains" to avoid having to maintain nearly
identical pairs of patterns.  Maybe "*"?
