I've been assigned a visiting psych nurse to fill the gap until I'm admitted to
the program. But we've been having logistical problems. I can't seem to make him
understand why it's unacceptable for him to come to my home at the same time my
aide is here. One, it's a confidentality issue, and two, if he comes while my
aide is giving me my bath, for example, who's supposed to sit and twiddle their
thumbs while the other is doing his/her job?

Until the last two weeks or so, he also didn't understand why he couldn't call
me in the morning to make an appointment to see me the _same_ day.

The visit before last he said he'd be here at 10am. He showed up at 11:20am and
stayed for all of 10 minutes, said he was sick. The last time the appintment was
for 9:30am. I was awake. No one rang the bell or knocked on the door, and then I
get a call accusing me of dodging him and saying he was here and did ring the
bell and knock on the door. So now they think I'm lying.

I'd like to ditch the guy, but the agency trying to get me into the hospital
said that I have to work with this guy in the interim. The "or else" was
unspoken.

They said they would, but I was on the priority waiting list for housing for
over a year when I got this apartment. If it takes another year after discharge,
where do I stay in the meantime?
