"all delete_on_server" not working for Trash folder?

Hi. I'm using Sylpheed 0.8.11 Claws on Windows XP on two different
systems. On each one, I set up a processing rule on the Trash folder
which is simply "all delete_on_server". When I read from home, I leave
messages on my work POP3 server, and vice versa.
In each case, I specifically go to the trash folder before emptying it
(Shift-D). I thought this was supposed to invoke the processing rule
which would delete all these messages from the POP server. I think get
all new messages (Ctrl-Shift I). However, when I later check the
server, I find all the old, should-have-been-deleted messages are still
there.
Am I missing something? Is there a trick to making this work?
Thanks,
-pd
