I have a Microsoft Outlook.com account and I check on it from time to time and have it set up and configured in The Bat! (V10.x) - been like this for years. Microsoft have e-mailed me to say I will lose access from September as I am using non-"Modern Authentication Method" to access. I use secure to port services - STARTTLS on send and TLS on receive (IMAP4). Microsoft is telling me to use OAUTH2 for outgoing service but in the Authentication methods box for incoming mail (IMAP4) I only have OAUTH (using web browser). I don't have OAUTH at all in send (SMTP). Do I need to upgrade to V11 or look for an alternative (I can use the account through my desktop Oulook client)?
