My setup has always used all lower-case user names, in fact I think there was a mod for this years ago to force all names to lowercase at all times. Recently one of my users informed me that he is no longer seeing anything listed in the overview screen (no spam, ham, viruses, or anything). After much digging I discovered a new account had been created with the first letter capitalized. Let's say the user's name is Robert... so his actual account name is 'robert', which still exists in Maia, but a new account was created as Robert with the first letter capitalized. Now if I look under the user screen there is no sign of Robert, only robert is shown, but if I do a search for *domain* I can then see both robert@ and Robert@, however Robert@ is showing thousands of spam and non-spam, while robert@ shows zeros in all columns. So, since Robert doesn't show up in the list for me to link accounts together, how do I properly get the user's emails back into a place where he can see and sort through the spams? And how do I ensure that future emails don't keep going to the name with the upper-case letter? For reference, my server handles email from several different domains, and incoming email comes with a variety of upper and lower case permutations, but everything *should* be forced to lowercase for Maia. I've dug through, and cannot find any other accounts where an upper-case variation got through, so this is the only mailbox where it has happened. Any help sorting this out would be appreciated. _______________________________________________ Maia-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.renaissoft.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/maia-users
