Sorry for the poor grammar. 

Looking through the past postings, another user (subject: seamless upgrade) 
reports that Zoe occasionally removes all the messages from the server. 
Thus, this appears not to be an isolated incident, but rather, a potentially 
serious bug! I am now trying to find a strategy for restoring my email 
to the server.
