Mail filtering software like POPFile doesn't hold any mail itself. It serves as a middleman between your mail server and client, and inserts header information into the messages it processes. ZOE relies on such header information (as defined in SpamHeader.properties) to decide what to classify as spam. The decision is done when ZOE retrieves mail, and mail categorized as spam never enters ZOE's mail database. When you reclassify a message in Popfile, you're only giving it an instruction that "this message should not be treated as spam", so it'll do a better job next time. Since Popfile doesn't have a mail database, it doesn't really "relabel" any message, and certain doesn't send any message to Zoe. I don't know how you can tell Zoe to re-retrieve a message. What I do is to set up my email client (Opera in your case) to retrieve mail from your server directly, so it'll get the spam. When I see a mis-treated message, in addition to reclassifying it in Spampal (Popfile for you), I also export the message to a text file (mbox or eml), edit out the spam info in the header with a text editor, re-import it from the text file, and then re-send the message to Zoe. I would love to know if there's an easier way. -- Best regards, Ming-Li ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8
