Oddly enough, a distant cousin of mine broke up on Monday November 1st, which I guess is the beginning of the season, and a Monday (apparently a popular day for break-ups). Looking at the high points, it does seem to correspond to some of the break-ups that have happened to friends this past year. I've had two friends in long term relationships (one pair married, one pair common-law) that fell apart this year. The first left his girlfriend in March claiming mental abuse (they owned a house together, so it was a little messy) and the second one had his wife leave him in June due to communication problems, then a month ago she apparently felt that God called her to shack up with some guy in California whom she'd never met in person.
