Re: safer topic: iPad

I have a wireless router in my office/rectory, and when I am not actively at the desktop, wherever I am in the house, I use the web browser, google, and get my e-mail on the iPad. With Pages and Numbers, I have a decent word processor and spreadsheet wherever I am. I can transfer Filemaker databases to and from it and use Filemaker Go, esp. for my sick calls database. I never use my laptop any more (anyone want a MacBook Pro in great shape?), as I can stay in touch online everywhere. For some, it would not be able to replace a laptop, but it does what I need it to do. Oh yeah, the calendar app is great to have to remind me of appointments and to add stuff to my calendar. So, for me, it has been a great help as well as having some fun games on it.
