That's pretty much the long history of child stars in general isn't it?  The
term "child star" itself has a connotation of trouble.

And Disney, alas, also has a long history of child stars who ended up dying of
drug overdoses or whatever.  Bobby Driscoll, born in 1937, starred in Song of
the South (1946), So Dear to My Heart (1948) and Treasure Island (1950) and
provided the voice of Peter Pan (1953), among other things for Disney ... and
then he served time in jail for drug possession in 1961, after which he was
found dead in 1968.
