There is not enough revenue from said taxes to maintain infrastructure There is plenty of wiggle room in there to argue there *is* enough revenue, it's just being used inefficiently. ;) My main points (lost in all the preachiness evidently) were: (a) I want transportation to pay for transportation. I don't want govt to subsidize transportation from other areas, and I don't want transportation to subsidize other areas.
