I once got into an argument with someone who claimed that Moore had presented Charlton Heston's interview in Bowling for Columbine -- the one in which Heston supposedly said something "racist" -- without any edits. But I went back and watched that bit on the DVD and, sure enough, there *were* edits there -- but they were handled so smoothly that it's very easy to miss them. (The DVD I have, incidentally, is the screener that was sent to critics during awards season. I believe Moore made one or two minor tweaks to the film before it was officially released to DVD, to "fix" certain factual errors that had been spotted during the film's theatrical release.
