hello everybody, its me again,
i was just wondering if anyone in this discussion has ever
found any advantage in having a tremolo harmonica in "richter" tuning?
we, here in ireland have always found it to be a
hindrance to our playing.
my very good friends in ireland , who play the
harmonica have found that the tombo range is, without question the
very best. the "solo" tuning and quality of tombos is superb.
i have raised this question on other harmonica
related websites, and quite honestly i was baffled and amused by the
replys from so-called "experts".
brendan power, who is a brilliant harmonica player,
offers a service to to-retune any type of harmonica to play "solo"
for any type of music. i would love to hear your views on this.
david hynes.
