Hey - go easy on yourself there! This was my fault - there was a nasty bug
in 1.1 that would sometimes cause the player's firmware and/or
configuration to get corrupted.  A flash update would almost always fix
it, but sometimes not (I've had to mail out a few replacement PIC chips in
those cases).

I'm glad that re-flashing the player fixed the problem. I'm pretty sure
that the firmware corruption bug is now fixed in V1.2, but not enough
people are using 1.2 yet to be 100% sure.
