The shuttle looks cool I've seen the board before, but rebadged by a Japanese vendor at around USD350: http://www.soldam.com/products/pandora_plus/index.html The boxes look a bit prettier, and it's dimensions are slightly different. Tell me what you think. I still want to split the App and File Server functions though. I'm also quite keen to keep the app server noise-free and very simple. I also have a different view of prices to my American friends. Hardware in the UK tends to follow a 1GBP=1USD rate so yes the Shuttle looks cheap, until I start adding shipping, import tax, support costs, spare part issues, power supply problems and so on. What's got me interested in the Shuttle is the DIVX possibilities. Though what I'd really like is a SliMP3 style DIVX head with TV out and 5/7 channel sound. Any chance? There are a number of other mini boxes out there.
