ahh, summer in the Yukon. 13 tracks, released in 1992 (only in the United Kingdom?).

this album/collection has probably my favorite cover of jane's releases. i don't know why - i used to think the cover was a bit garish, but i've become wiser as i have gotten older....

the first track is apparently the "single" version of "the life is the red wagon" - some have referred to it as the "disco version". i like both versions myself, and don't think this version has much to do with disco (though a bee gees' version of "...red wagon" would be...um, interesting).

this album has may tracks in common with SoJ/I Week Eight's "a collection...", but includes two tracks from jane's first album - especially the lovely "above the treeline". this album also marks the first appearance of jane's duet with k.d. lang, "calling all angels" - much beloved by many jane fans, and often requested at concerts.
