Wouter Bessels said he was able to track down a higher-generation copy of
the tape for the Mannheim recording.

I did an A/B comparison of the new release with the T.Tree copy I had, and
there was a modest improvement, I wouldn't discount it as "insignificant".
As you say, the T.Tree was already pretty good to begin with in this
instance.
The accompanying artwork and booklet and nicely produced with a lot of
contemporary news materials, and more importantly, the band actually get
royalties on this release, unlike the T.Tree bootleg.

Tree 30 Reims and Tree 13 Mannheim come already from excellent sources.
Major increase in quality can't be expected. Especially because almost
certainly no new (better) sources were used. If there is an improvement at
all, it's insignificant.
