Re: A troubling patent that SCO was granted

I read a very interesting article in some trade rag, (forget which one),
which illuminated something interesting regarding this.

I think all ppl that got a good beating with the clue stick are inclined
to laugh at the whole SCO thing.

As it turns out, apparently Wall Street likes this sort of speculation and
the stock price has benefited.

My recollection of the article is that there is a parent company of SCO
and others, and that as the SCO price went up, SCO bought another company
('sister' company of SCO) for stock.  They then flipped the stock and
cashed in on the speculation.

I think it is really shady Wall Street stuff.
