Yes, that's right, but my experience is that I was repeatedly able to
retrieve articles about 80 days old using my Unlimited 45 account.

Don't know if it's normal or just some misconfiguration in my account.
Perhaps I should better shut up and stay quiet before someone finds out ;-).

Ah, that might be very well it...

NewsHosting doesn't do any sporge filtering and that's pretty annoying :-(
But it's balanced by the longer retention (at least in my case ;-) ) .

I'm with NewsHosting since May 2002 and was always pretty happy with them.
