Need a replacement for BNR, I fear

I've been having more and more trouble with BNR2 for Linux over the past year 
or so.  The final straw seems to have been my move to KDE4.2.  Since then I've 
been getting random crashes out of BNR when I open a group.  By "random", I 
mean "roughly 50% of the time".  Needless to say, this makes using the program 
rather nervewracking.

I'm currently experimenting with running the Windows version via wine, but at 
best, that's an awkward workaround.

So I'm looking for recommendations from anyone who cares to offer one.  My 
minimum requirements are:

1) Linux-native
2) Multi-server selection (gathers headers from multiple servers and presents 
a merged view as BNR does) and download.
3) Allows grouping related newsgroups into a single view (as BNR does via 
folders).

Note that I do *not* require that it necessarily handle multiple threads for 
downloading -- that's a "nice but not necessary", as I typically queue a bunch 
of files before I leave for work, and leave them downloading when I go.
