That was my impression too.

But I don't know if we need a replacement for it or if it would be
better to just fix the current issues with libicq2000.

I made my repository available now.

It is located at http://repo.or.cz/w/centerim.git.
Please have a look at the crash courses at http://git.or.cz/ on how to
use it.

The name of the project there is centerim. Please note that this name
is not fixed yet.  I would prefer to continue to use the name
centericq. And maybe people come up with an even better new name. :)

I would appreciate if people could point me to possible improvements
and/or patches that should be applied to the repository.
