Evolution is a HORRIBLE approach of software engineering. Computers do not work the same way as living things; life is based on fundamentally different concepts than software. I'll mimic life when I want to design a virus or a worm, where self-replication is key. Until then, I trust my brain (though a product of evolution) more than evolution, if it's about writing working software. -- Laurent
