how does one enable it to pick up email.

I'm using version 2.0.0.1

Message I get is  - Login failed "-ERR [AUTH]  you must use
authentication such as AUTH SCRAM-MD5 or APOP to connect to this server"

under Authentication methods there is no choice for SCRAM-MD5 or APOP
