Also in favour of C, as he did mention that some of the stability issues 
were caused by another server in the same rack and that he wanted to 
swap the box to another cabinet - this would change the IP address but 
not the rest of the aspects of the server.

I would like to see the alternative ping/traceroute results from the 
server if it was moved.
