Although I am not one to really get too involved in this discussion 
(being a non-vote counter), I just thought I'd give my 2 cents worth.

For sake of consistency and to not cause confusion, I suggest 
everything vote related goes to [email protected] The only 
disadvantage of this is if other staff members (i.e. non-admins) 
want to track a vote's progress; not very important I know, but in 
which case the staff list would be the better option. Also, is there 
any real reason why it should be kept so private that other staff 
members can't see the status of a vote? Just curious :)
