Excerpts from Dwayne Henderson's message of Thu Jan 12 19:21:41 -0500 2012: > Look, all I'm saying is change the likes of "ircname" to "IRC name". You have not given any justification for why the change you propose is an improvement. It seems at first look to be a purely cosmetic change that you feel will be more visually appealing, but that others may find inferior. > Basically you're arguing that all development on Irssi should cease because > people are happy with the way things were. Jase Thew is arguing that *purely cosmetic* changes which some users will consider improvements but other users will find make things worse aren't worth development effort. That's a *far* cry from calling for all development to cease because people are happy with things as they are.
