If all traps (including startup/shutdown traps) are received twice, then it's most likely that you've got two trapsink (or similar) directives in your snmpd.conf file(s). Or else that the same file is being read in twice. If it's only selected traps (e.g. mteTriggerFired) that are repeated, then I'd take a look at the DisMan tables. It's possible that the configuration has been duplicated somehow, so the same entries are appearing twice (and hence getting processed twice). When you say you "restart" the agent - how do you do this? Are you shutting down the agent completely, or sending a HUP signal? Does this make any difference to the behaviour?
