Any way to narrow this down? Just for fun, I commented out EVERY line in my snmpd.conf & restarted the agent. As expected, it complained about "no access control information configured," but I STILL got the periodic COUNTER64 errors! snmpd[31796]: netsnmp_assert 1 == new_val->high failed int64.c:419 netsnmp_c64_check32_and_update() snmpd[31796]: c64 32 bit check failed snmpd[31796]: netsnmp_assert 1 == new_val->high failed int64.c:419 netsnmp_c64_check32_and_update() snmpd[31796]: c64 32 bit check failed I just wish I knew if the agent is pulling a bogus statistic from the platform (an embedded Linux From Scratch kernel), so I could narrow this down.
