Netsaint availability reporting allows the output of the report in CSV
format, that Excel reads directly (the enterprising person could perhaps
implement a web services link between NetsaintNagios) and Excel.

Is this what you were aking about ?

If not, and you want custom resports, then your Unix/POSIX reporting
package can output Excel spreadsheets __directly__ with John McNamara's
(that's spelled C-P-A-N) excellent Perl module.
