Thanks Benjamin=2C

1- I sure will get the the newer version either 1.6.2 stable or the 1.6 tes=
ting

2- I looked for the .m2 directory and the only folders/references to Maven =
are as follows:

- /root/Desktop/src/eclipse/maven/bin/m2

- /root/m2_repo (it's hidden) ---> I recall creating this when i get to the=
 step in the manual where it instruc to create a variable in eclipse softwa=
re:

"Add a classpath variable called M2_REPO and set its value to <your home di=
r>/.m2/repository. (Note: eclipse does not accept the '~' character)
"

The ~/.m2/repository doesn't event exist on my machine...it's weird...sue=
=2C let me get the 1.6.2 and build that one but will running three build co=
mmands mentioned in the manual be sufficient or i'll have to manually creat=
e that .m2 directory?

Thanks in advance=2C
