Re: Use cases

I use the rdesktop client everyday. It can be kind of a pain sometimes. I
may have odd lock ups at any time. It locks the keyboard and I have to use
a mouse to launch xkill to kill the session and restart it. Sometimes,
I've have to do that several times in a row, and I may have 20 such
freezes in a day. I may be exaggerating, but it seems that way sometimes
(I think 11 in a 4 hour period is the worst I've had). Sometimes I'll have
no problems all day. I've yet to determine the cause. It seems to happen
more frequently the more sessions I have open. I rarely need more than
three at a time, but frequently want two. It seems to occur more on real
Windows, and more with MS virtual PC. It's been much more rare since we
switched to a commercial VM. I at one point it was my internet connection
and it may still be that, or maybe partially that, but I suspect there's
more to it.

I don't really have a need for an Rdesktop server.
