	Er...no.  Chances are the .dsc file is just a description
file.  Many newsgroups don't have descriptions but will still be
available from your news server.

	Don't need to do this if you just hit "L" in the group view
within slrn.  It looks for available groups (once you've added it to
the slrnpull conf file).  Then just "s" to subscribe to it.

	I assume you mean "quit and restart slrn", which is also not
needed. "g" in the group view will update things.  I *really* hope you
don't mean shutdown and restart the whole computer.
