Each path must be both a file and writeable by the user running the slrn
process (which I'm guessing is "holtzm") according to:

http://slrn.sourceforge.net/docs/slrn-manual.html#toc6.88
http://slrn.sourceforge.net/docs/slrn-manual.html#toc6.89

I'd check to make sure each is a file and is writeable by the user
running slrn.

Alternatively, do you have something later in your slrnrc that sets the
save_posts and save_replies settings to ~/News/My_Posts and
~/News/My_Replies respectively? Or perhaps a macro which sets them that
way?
