The files have the same permissions (600) as all the other mbox files in the mail directory. > > Alternatively, do you have something later in your slrnrc that sets the > save_posts and save_replies settings to ~/News/My_Posts and > ~/News/My_Replies respectively? Or perhaps a macro which sets them that > way? Nothing The plot thickens. Today, when I checked my email, two messages from [email protected] showed up with Subject: Mail System Error - Returned Mail. One for /home/holtzm/news/[email protected] and one for /home/holtzm/news/[email protected]. When I checked my outbox file, sure enough, there were messages sent with no subject or body To: /home/holtzm/News/[email protected] and To: /home/holtzm/News/[email protected]. Now I'm really confused. Why are these messages being mailed and not simply saved to the respective files? Previously I had set set save_directory "/home/holtzm/mail/saved_slrn" and it works perfectly. -- Bob Holtzman Key ID: 8D549279 "If you think you're getting free lunch, check the price of the beer" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Offer-- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE (a $49 USD value)!
