RSS feed for only one item

Dear All:

Im working adding better RSS support for Tikiwiki (a CMS).

I would like to offer individual RSS feeds for each content item (an
article, a blog post, a wiki page), but Im not sure if this is
correct.

I thought I could create a channel with only one item? 
The problem with this approach is that I'll end with duplicate info
(the title of the channel and the title of the item, for example).
Or I could create a channel with an empty items element?

Also: what's the correct way to link the rdf file from the HTML? <link
type='text/xml+rdf' href='blabla' /> ?
