Your analysis doesn't seem unreasonable, up to the point of "made
known" - how do you think this information should be made known? We
all have our (different) goals, there is a vast amount of information
on the Web. We all face the same general problem of joining the two
sides together on our *own* problems.

to resolve what you don't yet know?

I can only suggest that you spend plenty of time with Google & co, and
when you have a specific question you can't resolve that way contact
an appropriate list. If you have any practical suggestions about how
things could be made better, I'm sure folks around here would be
interested.
