Ok, this is an interesting point and I notice it too in the 
CNN feeds. There appears to be an editorial ordering of feed
items that is contrary to the pubDate timestamps.  This second
level, editor imposed sequence makes sense on such a news feed
- and on First Say I maintain the given order since it is,
in effect, a declaration of priority.

I wish, however, that the editorial ordering was explicit and 
not merely implied by the lexical order in the feed.
