tin does not insert a Date header. if you use an extern inews program
(i doubt you do) that might insert the date header. otherweise it's
added by the newsserver. just a guess: your timezone is not UTC/GMT,
but your newsserver takes the localtime of the system without adding
a timezone string/offset so it ends up beeing interpreted as UTC.
