nocreation more than auto less than batch

Hi. I have been using unison with auto happily for ages. I now want to
accomplish something new.

My local machine root1 and one remote root2 have working files that need to
be synced biderectionally. There may be conflicts that I want to resolve,
but only to files that exist on both sides. If root2 does not have the
file, I do not want to create it.

I confirmed that adding
nocreation = root2
and with a root1/new_file
unison will do the following:
1. if run with auto it will ask me what to do <=?=>
2. if run with batch it will ignore the new file.
I would rather auto not ask me, but I still want to run with auto because
there may be other conflicts i do want to sync (in either direction).

My rational is the following. I want to create a nocreationpartial that
will match top-level paths on root2. My root2 should only have folders that
I am working on, due to the limited size, eg only 2
root2/current_project1
root2/current_project2
whereas root1 has these and many many more old projects. I want them a
biderctional sync on the n=2 folders that do exist on root2. I would like
an auto that accepts most automatic syncs and asks me for conflicts inside
those n folders. But as stands auto will ask me for quite a lot more.

Thanks
