This typically happens when apache (through mod_python/current) can't
read the databases that were created due to permissions problems.

Do you have the permissions set correctly?

If I could get you to confirm that you've recreated your databases and
restarted apache, that would be a good point to start at.

OpenUp was written in several languages (C, shell, perl, PHP) and I'm
fairly committed to one language projects from now on.

If you have ideas, put them out on the mailing list - several people
here know python.
