Thanks  for the tip.
Would you mind then telling me how you  added the proper devices? They 
are not in MAKEDEV (nor in CURRENT's, I've looked just to be sure) so 
I'm at a loss as to how to use the added (to LINT) usb devices. The 
adapter now shows up as uplcom0, which is a device I do not have.
