What can I do with a WRT54G

I know that WRT54G's kind of have a bad reputation but I've been blessed/cursed with one for my own wireless setup. I know about sveasoft for the 54g but I was wondering if the list could generate a list of hacks I can do with my 54g. I'm most interested in the routing hacks and security related stuff like better encryption and whatnot. I'm still pretty new at the whole wireless thing so any help would be great.
