Yeah I agree .. when they go dead they just go dead nothing quite can
be done if the damage is physical.

I too have been looking for alternative 200mW CPE. I have considered
using the WRT54G with OpenWRT and the software power boost up. BUT it
always seemed that CB3s outperformed the WRTs. Any suggestions will be
very much appriciated.
