Your calculations look good, but physical obstacles are real killers
especially at greater distances.

Where do you get the 200mw Tx power? Is that what the WRT54GL is rated
at? It sounds high for a linksys product. Is it using a power hack?

There is really only one way to find out. However 1 mile without LOS, I
would not get my hopes too high.
