I was referring to zcip-4, the version packaged by Brad Hards.

I just checked. Though the *package* is still active, all releases (only 
zcip-4 actually) are currently hidden. I thought I activated this, but 
maybe Brad had disabled it again. I'll ask him.


Thanks for the info on the Arthur von Hoff release. Indeed, ZCIP uses 
two libraries, one of which is outdated. I was hoping to update it 
(though I currently have little time and can't estimate now how much 
work it is). However, so far I thought Arthur von Hoff's implementation 
was not maintained at all. It now seems it is actively maintaining by 
Anand Kumria at http://www.progsoc.org/~wildfire/zeroconf/

Maybe you are right and it is better to concentrate any efforts there, 
rather then at ZCIP. Opinions?
